Our vision for nursery and preschool children is to help them experience the love of Jesus first hand and to love each other. We strive to teach our little ones in a bright, safe and loving environment. Snacks and drinks are provided to meet their physical needs as we feed them spiritually. Come see us and bring a friend as we learn to worship and love our Lord.
At NPBC we believe that the brightness of the future is held in the hands of children. If the hope of tomorrow is to be realized, then we must cultivate the spirit and enthusiasm of the young. The children find opportunities to grow socially, spiritually, and musically through Bible study, worship and our Children’s Choir. Our newest venture is a Children-In-Action group on Wednesday nights. It is proving to be very successful and your children need to be a part of it. If you are actively seeking a safe environment for your children to prosper, then NPBC is an excellent choice.

Student Ministry
The Student Ministry at New Palestine Baptist Church is intended to provide an environment for 7th-12th graders to receive biblical teaching contextualized to their life stage and form healthy relationships with other teenagers that are striving to live a life pleasing to the Lord. Our goal is to partner with parents and other adult leaders in the church to help our students discover how God has equipped and called them to serve our church, our community, and the world.
Our student ministry meets at various times for different purposes:
Sunday School — 9:45am
Wednesday Bible Study — 6:00 pm
Fellowships — Movie Nights, hanging out, etc
Yearly Events — DNOW (Winter), Camp (June or July), 7UP (August), Fall Retreat (October or November)
Worship Ministry
Here at New Palestine Baptist Church we sing hymns and songs that are founded in Scripture and focused on God. We also prioritize music that is easy to sing. We believe that all styles of worship music are beneficial for the Church as long as they meet these standards.
The Worship Team meets and leads worship weekly during our Sunday Morning Services at 8:30am and 11am. The Choir meets weekly seasonally on Sundays at 5pm with two main choir features throughout the year on or around Easter and Christmas.

WMU has been mobilizing Southern Baptists for over a century, and our commitment has never wavered. Our legacy includes: supporting thousands of missionaries through the Cooperative Program, the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, and the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. At NPBC, we have two chapters. Two chapters that meet monthly on the last Tuesday of the month.
Equipping and encouraging the women of New Palestine Baptist Church to carry Christ into Picayune and the surrounding community through service, discipleship, and Christ-centered relationships.
