New Palestine Mission Partners
Our mission is to take the gospel to the nations, starting right here in Picayune, Ms. We do not view these mission opportunities as "mission trips" but as partnerships. We send teams throughout the year in order to provide encouragement for the churches and to help advance the gospel in their cities. We believe our team members return with a deeper love for God and urgency to live their lives on mission for Jesus.
Belize
We have partnered with Hattieville Baptist Church in Belize since 2019. In that same year, our first team to Belize experienced first-hand this beautiful, subtropical country and culture. As a Central American country, this small nation is influenced by both Latino and Caribbean culture. The Belizeans are mainly Roman Catholic and/or Protestant by affiliation; however, much discipleship is needed. Hattieville Baptist, as a local church, is vitally connected to the community and routinely ministers through church services, vacation Bible school, food distribution, light construction, and other tangible outreach ministries. Hattieville has also sent a team to Picayune, helping NPBC live on mission right here! NPBC plans to return to Belize in 2022!
Jersey, CI
Jersey is a small island off the coast of France and is considered a Channel Island (as in the English Channel). The people are vibrant and hospitable and mainly influenced by British culture (but with a unique twist). We have sent numerous teams to Jersey (and the UK) over the last several years, as well as hosted a team from there. Jersey Baptist is a Gospel-driven church in a culture that has drifted far from Christianity. This local church ministers through creative means, while maintaining the message of hope that is found in Christ alone. We hope for future opportunities to send NPBC teams and host Jersey Baptist teams, as we partner together for God’s glory!
